This is a story about a 10-year old boy who lives in Los Angles, CA and how his neighbor, Lupita from Mexico changes his young life with her dog, Fajita. Sam plays soccer with his friends and when they are short a player on their team Fajita pitches in and saves the day. This is a very sweet story of a boy who grows to love this strange looking dog who is part Chihuahua. Sam's father is from Jamaica and his mother is Afro-American.
