Afterschool Explorations in Science

Afterschool Explorations in Science (AXIS) is a thematic curriculum designed specifically for use by afterschool programs with youth in grades 4-8.

Each AXIS unit includes:       

1) full-color youth activity books that guide all explorations;

2) a comprehensive leader’s guide; and

3) a materials kit with all supplies and consumables needed to carry out the activities for a group of 12 youth.

Programs can purchase individual activity books (available in English and Spanish), leader guides and materials kits, or a set that includes 12 activity books, one leader’s guide and one materials kit. There are six subjects available.
